
We are seeking an experienced current or former HR professional to join our Board. We are a specialist Housing Association providing housing and support for victims of domestic abuse, young people and people at risk of homelessness due to a range of other challenges in their lives. We also provide specialist education and training services across Wales.
We currently have eleven board members with experience across Housing, Development, Finance, Legal Services, Governance, Support, Social Care, Organisational Development, Health, Local Government, Education, Training and HR. Your HR expertise will add to the diverse knowledge, skills and experience of our Board; helping us attract, develop, and retain top talent, whilst ensuring that Stori continues to be a great place to work for great people.

As part of our Board you will be key in:
- Development of recruitment, retention, and development strategies
- Championing equality, diversity, and inclusion within the association
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice
- Contributing to board discussions and decision-making
We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual with:
Strategic HR Expertise
Ability to advise on workforce planning, talent management, Employment Law, organisational development and HR Best Practice.
Change Management Experience
Ability to support the organisation through transitions include TUPE, restructures, or cultural change
Recruitment & Retention Knowledge
Insights into attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
Communication & Leadership Skills
Strong interpersonal and advisory skills to influence board decisions.
Confidentiality & Ethics
A strong sense of integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive HR matters. A commitment to our values.
