Olchfa School Pupils Help Stori Spread Christmas Cheer with 60 Hampers for Families in Swansea

We’d like to say a big thank you to the pupils of Olchfa School in Swansea for their incredible donation of Christmas hampers!

For weeks, under the guidance of their teacher, Mrs. Davey, the pupils from Olchfa’s Year 10 Enhanced Provision class worked tirelessly to gather donations from the local community. They collected everything from toys and clothes to toiletries and festive treats. Each hamper was thoughtfully wrapped and topped off with a handwritten message of hope, adding a personal touch to bring extra cheer to those in need.

Our Swansea team had the pleasure of joining the students for a festive coffee morning, where we shared more about the work we do at Stori and heard all about the effort and enthusiasm behind their project. The students were driven by one simple goal: to help ensure everyone has a brighter Christmas.

Initially, the pupils aimed to create 30 hampers, but thanks to their determination and the amazing support from the community, they exceeded their target and put together an astounding 60 hampers! Stori will now be delivering these to families and individuals across Swansea, spreading joy throughout the festive season.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, the students also launched their own food and clothing bank to collect even more essential items for those in need. Their hard work has made a huge impact, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their generosity and commitment.

The pupils at Olchfa have shown what can be achieved through teamwork, compassion, and a true sense of community. We’re so proud to partner with them to bring a little joy to those who need it most.
