Pili Pala Children and Young People (CYP) Project

Our Pili Pala Project offers 1 to 1 and group support sessions for children and young people (CYP) with multiple and co-existing needs who have been affected by domestic abuse.

We help them manage their feelings and grow their self-confidence in a trauma-informed way, ensuring they feel safe. Our support and interventions aim to help them sustain their safety, mental wellbeing, and develop resilience, helping to minimise the impact of the issues they’re experiencing.

Our 1 to 1 support includes a range of activities to suit the CYP needs including:

  • Dealing with emotions
  • Safety planning through using role play
  • Mindfulness
  • Confidence building
  • Resilience
  • Sexual health
  • Healthy relationships
  • Domestic Abuse awareness
  • Power and control
  • Choices and consequences
  • Life skills

We also work with their families to ensure they have access to the right support at the right time; giving the whole family the opportunity to flourish.
