This is an engaging and useful training in LGBT-affirmative approaches. Taking an approach that is more nuanced and initially more difficult to understand but ultimately more impactful for professionals and their clients, making our approach and more person centred.
This offer moves beyond ‘LGBTQ+ training’ which often focusses on definitions of words, flags and explaining the law. Learners will take a broader view of everyone’s gender and sexuality and how these beliefs, identities and values are shaped socially and can change over time.
This interactive, engaging, and thought-provoking training will be useful for any public-facing professional, especially those in supportive roles. We adapt the content to ensure it is relevant to the groups we work with.
