We’re proud to share that Stori has been awarded the opportunity to deliver a new five-year housing support service in Carmarthenshire, following a successful tender process. Funded through the Housing Support Grant, this service will offer housing related floating support across Llanelli, in line with Carmarthenshire County Council’s Housing Support Programme (HSP) Strategy.
At its heart, the service is designed to prevent homelessness and promote sustainable, independent living. Rooted in a person-centred approach, it will empower individuals by supporting them to make informed choices, take control of their lives, and connect with other services to help achieve their personal goals.
By offering the right support at the right time, we aim to build people’s confidence and resilience—helping them maintain their independence in a way that’s meaningful and lasting.
We’re also thrilled to be welcoming several new colleagues to the Stori team in Carmarthenshire as part of this development, and we look forward to welcoming on board.
This project strengthens our commitment to delivering high-quality, tailored support across the county. It will sit alongside our existing range of specialist services for individuals and families—reinforcing our shared mission to help people live as safely, independently, and well as possible.
