Stori Awarded Major Funding to Support RSE Delivery in Schools

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded funding for 3 years from Welsh Government to deliver the Cwtch Education Project, an all-Wales project supporting the development of healthy, respectful relationships in schools across Wales.

This ambitious project will support teachers, leaders and whole-school communities to confidently deliver high-quality Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE), so that every child and young person can build positive relationships rooted in empathy, trust and understanding.

The Cwtch Education Project builds on over two decades of Stori’s experience delivering trusted, evidence-informed initiatives for children and young people in schools across Wales. With a strong track record of equipping professionals with the tools and confidence they need, Stori continues to support schools in creating safe, inclusive environments where learners can thrive.

As part of the project, Stori’s Cwtch Project will:

  • Support teachers to feel confident in delivering RSE across the curriculum
  • Support governors, parents and carers to understand what RSE is all about, and why it matters
  • Ensure young people’s voices remain central to how RSE is shaped and delivered

Stori’s Director of Services, Sharon Smith, commented

We’re delighted Welsh Government have decided to fund the Cwtch Project to support schools across Wales. We’re looking forward to working closely with Welsh Government, schools, families and communities to make RSE something that feels relevant, inclusive and empowering for every learner.
