You Said, We Did Spring 2025

At Stori, we’re committed to providing homes and services that genuinely reflect the needs of the people we support. One of the most important ways we do this is by actively listening to your feedback because your experiences help us grow, improve, and make meaningful changes.

This spring, we’ve been speaking directly with tenants about their homes, what’s working, what’s not, and where we can do better. These conversations have been incredibly valuable, and we’re already taking action in response to what you’ve shared.

Here are just a few of the things we heard and how we’re responding:

“I want to paint the walls a colour I choose, and put down a carpet I like.”

We understand how important it is to make your home feel like your own. All requests for painting and flooring are considered. Whether it’s a splash of colour or a carpet that feels right underfoot, we encourage you to speak with your support worker or housing officer to explore what’s possible.

“My house gets cold in the winter.”

We know that staying warm and comfortable is essential. In response to feedback like this, we’re taking action:

  • We’re working across all our properties to improve energy efficiency and raise EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) ratings.
  • From April 25, we’re launching Energy Pathways, a strategic plan that will help us map out the improvements needed—so we can deliver warmer, more energy-efficient homes.

Keeping You in the Loop

We’re committed to transparency and communication. That’s why we’ll continue to share updates on what tenants and clients are telling us and what actions we’re taking in response.

Every voice matters. So if you have something to share, please don’t hesitate to talk to your support worker or housing officer. Together, we’ll keep building better homes and services, shaped by the people who live in and use them.
